On April 22, 2021, International Earth Day, the American agency Activista launched an advertising campaign entitled “Mars sucks”. Indeed, Mars is not a welcoming planet at first sight… However, it is there that Elon Musk intends to set up colonies, as he often reminds us on Twitter! For Activista, this is the last straw. While we have a planet that deserves much more attention from its occupants, some are investing billions in a hostile planet. That’s why they have launched a spokesperson website for the Earth called “Mars sucks”. This campaign consists of 24 posts each making a sarcastic joke about the planet Mars.
